Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager
Reports To: Commercial Lines Manager
Department: Commercial Lines
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Purpose: The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for developing strong relationships with assigned clients and acting as the primary contact for servicing needs and policy coverage inquiries.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the daily servicing needs of assigned client relationships in accordance with agency standards and compliance, workflows, and associated regulations. Servicing responsibilities include renewals, providing summaries, ordering and issuing binders, certificates, policies, Auto ID cards, proposals, invoicing, and other insurance documents.
- Identify opportunities to set appointments to conduct needs-based, consultative sales presentations and cross selling opportunities to existing clients
- Obtain non-marketed renewal quotes from existing carriers, completing renewal processes and handle non-renewal and cancellations for cause
- Keep abreast of insurance industry changes and communicates changes to clients and team members
- Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.

Job Related Qualifications – Education and Prior Experience:
Required:
- Education: Associate Degree
- Prior Experience: 3+ Years Type: Customer Service or Account Management experience in the Insurance industry
- Licenses or Accreditation: New York State Property/Casualty Brokers License
Preferred:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior Experience: 5+ Years Type: Customer Service of Account Management experience in the Insurance industry
- Licenses or Accreditation: New York State Property/Casualty Brokers License
Competencies:
- Ability to develop a knowledge and understanding of all insurance products
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new and existing company software; Working knowledge of insurance agency management systems including EPIC
- Able to work independently and effectively within a team environment
- Possess a high level of attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet assigned deadlines and goals
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Able to effectively and efficiently work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions
- Ability to present information in an effective concise manner
- Strong sales orientation and customer focused
- Responds to requests for information in a timely and professional manner
Physical Requirements:
